You’ve got some impressive credits yourself. We seem to move in the same circles, and I really dig that. There’s nothing better than seeing a familiar name on the table of contents of a mag I like.

Congratulations, Ian, and thanks for the comments at my site. I’m still working out the kinks there, so it may be a bit before I’m making regular entries. I’m dead impressed with the credits your racking up. Truth be told, you’ve become (without your knowledge or approval) my friendly rival. I check in regularly at your blog and say something like, “Holy Crap! He sold another one!” I doubt very much that I’ll be able to keep up with your productivity, but I’m at least somewhat motivated by competition, so maybe it will help me. I think you’ll really dig this story. The last few that came out, my East Coast series, were kind of light and fantasy-ish. This one is a straight out hardboiled detective story with a horror twist. Horror-boiled, I call it. Lots of action, lots of scares.
