Journal

Ian made a new friend tonight. His name is Maddox and, like yours truly, he’s a writer. Now and then, he’ll stop by and share a few words. Maddox doesn’t write horror fiction, but he has a lot of opinions—especially about web diaries or "blogs." One such article has prompted me to go ahead and post an essay I myself had written about them. It’ll be up within the next week or so, after I finish "Boy from Planet X."

The article is very tongue-in-cheek and will probably be called simply "On Blogs" (marvel at my creativity! marvelll!).

Most of you should get a laugh out of it. All others go to hell.

Random Writing Quote

"Yes, self-publishing has become more commonplace, but it still carries a stigma. That’s not your fault, and it’s not fair, but that’s the way it is. What you need to understand is that for every decent self-published novel there are 1,000,000,000 really shitty self-published novels."
